Golf Community (Proposed)

Planning has begun on an 18-hole championship golf course at Sunset Cay. Set among the rolling hills of scenic Bedford County, the course will be both beautiful and challenging to golfers of all abilities. With Virginia’s temperate climate, players will be able to enjoy the course year-round. A clubhouse with fine dining, a bar/lounge, pool, tennis courts, fitness center, social activities and more will be in the center of it all. Construction should begin in the summer of 2008.

Property options in the 450-acre community will include single-family homes, townhomes, cottages and condos. All sit on higher ground to take advantage of the views of the mountains, golf course and three lakes on the property. Shopping, dining and other conveniences are just a short walk or golf cart ride away. In addition, all homeowners will have access to the marina, boat storage facilities, boat ramps, waterfront park and sandy beach just two miles up the road at Sunset Cay’s waterfront village, The Marina.
